Delight children and adults alike by creating a whole host of fun and fabulous knitted characters from this latest book by best-selling author, Sarah Keen. Inside you'll find 50 knitted dolls in costume and work attire, including graduates, a doctor, fire-fighter, painter and decorator, ballerina, bride and groom, spaceman, snowman, fitness enthusiast and hiker, to name just a few. All the projects are made from DK yarn, which is easy to wash, durable and child-friendly. They are perfect gifts for loved ones or as a treat to yourself.

"The latest collection of tiny knitted figurines from prolific designer Keen (Topsy-Turvy Knitted Dolls) features a variety of customizable six-inch dolls well suited to creative play or decoration. Each doll is made with DK-weight yarn, and knitters can customize skin color, hair color, and clothing as they choose. The dolls are constructed in small sections that are sewn together, and basic knitting skills, such as increasing, decreasing, and seaming, are required—a brief refresher is provided. Knitters looking for cute, cheery toys will find plenty of choices here."Library Journal

Sarah Keen is passionate about knitting, finding it relaxing and therapeutic. She discovered her love of the craft at a very early age—her mother taught her to knit when she was just four years old and by the age of nine she was making jackets and jumpers. Sarah now works as a freelance pattern designer and finds calculating rows and stitches challenging but fascinating. She is experienced in designing knitted toys for children, and also enjoys writing patterns for charity. This is Sarah's ninth book for GMC Publications.
